PSC members' fleet of cruising yachts are well known for being spotted over a huge cruising range. Ireland, the west coast of Scotland, the Scilly Isles and Brittany are regular summer destinations for many members.
Racing is organised by the Madoc Yacht club, and members are welcome to join in some of their races. Additionally, PSC has done well in the Squirrel cup, in memory of Eric Tutton, our former president. This cup challenges the clubs of Tremadog Bay (SCYC in Abersoch, Pwllheli YC, PSC, MYC, Llanbedr & Pensarn YC and Merioneth YC) to an annual race; each year the race is organised by the previous winner.
As winners of the 2010 Squirrell Trophy, PSC attempted to host the 2011 race but were thwarted by attendance and weather problems. But, it will be back in 2012 - the date has been set as 02 June 2012 - for more details see the Squirrel Race page.
Anyone wishing to use the drying out slab should book in advance using the form on the Cruisers' notice board in the clubhouse.
